Q: How is Lux Row Distillers handling cleaning of the facility?
A: Rest assured, cleanings are taking place three times a day: prior to opening, midday, and after closing. Employees are working from a detailed checklist to sanitize all high-touch surfaces, including door handles, counters, tables and stools, elevator buttons, restrooms, etc. Additionally, a professional cleaning service is being brought in once a week for a deep clean of the entire facility.
Q: I’m looking to book a tour. Will my tour experience be impacted?
A: While we’ll continue to deliver the hospitality our guests have come to expect, your tour experience might look a little different. Don’t worry: you’ll still get a taste of our bourbons!
Our Production Tour will be capped at 10 guests and will be an abbreviated 1-hour tour of our distillation process with a full tasting. Premium Experience and Tasting Experience Tours will not be taking place at this time.
To create a safe 6-foot distance between you and others, stanchions have been set up at the tour desk. Employees will also be wearing gloves when accepting cash.
Tour guides will be responsible for maintaining a 6-foot distance between themselves and guests during your tour. Seating, when present, will be pre-arranged at a safe distance.
Disposable plastic cups and tasting mats will be used in the tasting room. The bar will remain closed at this time.
Q: I want to stop by to pick up a bottle (or two) of bourbon. Will my gift shop experience be impacted?
A: The good news is that our gift shop will be open during normal business hours. But, for your safety, it will be limited to 50% capacity (46 guests). In addition, stanchions have been set up for check-out, and employees will wear gloves for accepting cash.
Q: Besides tours and gift shop experiences, can I expect any other changes?
A: Yes. In an effort to limit the spread of germs, we have placed hand sanitizer stations in high-volume areas and removed all magazines and books from our Visitor Center waiting areas.
