Here at Lux Row Distillers, we take our spirits seriously, and we’re not quick to hop on trends or pump out any ol’ swill to call it a day. Instead, we produce quality spirits worthy of a spot on your bar.
And, since we’ve been doing this for a long time, we’ve developed quite the collection of bourbon whiskeys for you to try.
The newest member of the Ezra Brooks family is Ezra 99. Bottled at an honest 99 proof and aged the old-fashioned way for an exceptionally smooth flavor and finish.
Tasting notes include caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and spice. It’s excellent as both an everyday sipper or in a cocktail.
The rebel spirit is strong with this one. It’s a 100 proof version of original Rebel Bourbon, and fresh off a gold medal win at American Whiskey Masters. Rebel 100 is quickly showing that it’s here to stay–and maybe cause a little ruckus while it’s at it.
This defiantly smooth wheated bourbon offers a palate of honey and butter with a hint of plum and raisins. Perfect as a shot, a heavy pour, or straight from the bottle.
David Nicholson 1843 & David Nicholson Reserve
A legacy that began in the back of a St. Louis grocery store in 1843, David Nicholson and David Nicholson Reserve come in at 100 proof and provide full-bodied flavor.
The palate of the original 1843 is exceptionally smooth to start, followed by woody and smoky tones. David Nicholson Reserve is an extra-aged “ryed” bourbon that is smooth and spicy with hints of sweet honey and chocolate.
Daviess County has a bourbon history dating back to 1874, but we reintroduced it to the world just a few years ago, and it’s already becoming one of the most popular blended whiskeys. Daviess County comes in three distinct variants: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Cabernet Sauvignon Finish, and French Oak Finish.
While each is 96 proof, the three bourbon whiskeys are unique in their own right. The Daviess County blog recently posted an article called These Daviess County Bourbon Cocktails Are Perfect for Each Season, which showcases the differences between the variants and how to build cocktails specific to each.
Bottled and released to commemorate the grand opening of Lux Row Distillers, it’s an understatement to say this bourbon is challenging to find. But, if you happen to find yourself one, you can expect a cask-strength ryed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey created from two of the finest 12-year whiskeys. It brings a 118.4 proof and hits the palate with cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla.
Every so often, the stars seem to align just right, and the birds seem to sing a song that’s a little prettier. For us each year, this happens when our Master Distiller, John Rempe, makes his selections for the next Blood Oath. In just seven short years, it’s quickly become one of the most beloved and anticipated yearly bourbon releases.
In 2021, we released Blood Oath Pact No.7. This pact features a combination of three different bourbon whiskeys finished together in Sauternes wine casks. You can read about Pact No. 7, and the Second-Edition Blood Oath Trilogy set on our blog.
Whether you’re in the mood for whiskey neat, on the rocks, in a cocktail, or to add to your bourbon collection, Lux Row Distillers has you covered.
