After a decade of one-of-a-kind releases, bourbon lovers line up by the hundreds every spring, looking to get their hands on the latest pact of Blood Oath—a mysterious and masterfully made bourbon, years in the making.
Blood Oath Pact No. 11 Añejo Barrel Finish is the union of two well-bred bourbons, a 14-year ryed and 10-year wheated, with a 7-year finished ryed bourbon. But what makes this year’s pact truly unique is the complex flavor that comes from bourbon finished in Añejo tequila barrels, sourced from the mountains of Jalisco Mexico.
After working closely with the Gonzalez family to innovate new Luxco brands, Lux Row Master Distiller John Rempe developed his second love—tequila. Inspired by his time with the Gonzalez family, Blood Oath Pact No. 11 features a show-stopping flavor profile that can only come from premium tequila barrels.
Each Pact is a blend so unique, you’ll never taste it again, no matter how many times you try. This year’s Blood Oath features the initial warmth of vanilla and black pepper, sweetly infused with spice and oak. Then, notes of cherry and citrus subtly emerge, guiding toward a velvety finish highlighted by black cherry and decadent dark chocolate.
Commemorating the experience, each bottle of Blood Oath comes with a fire-branded wooden display box. Launching April 26 at Lux Row Distillers, then at select retailers, Blood Oath Pact No. 11 is extremely limited, so get yours before it’s gone for good.
