The Inspiration

It all started when Lux Row Master Distiller John Rempe wanted to combine the citrus flavors of Albariño wine with the sweet corn-influenced notes of our wheated and ryed bourbons. The result is an unforgettable mix of two opposing flavors. 

All About Albariño

A delightfully refreshing coastal white grape grown along the Iberian Peninsula of Spain and Portugal, these thick-skinned grapes are known for their rich stone fruit flavors, distinct citrus bitterness and hints of salinity and acidity.  

A Flavorful Finish

Aged four years, only the best wheated and ryed Lux Row Bourbon barrels were hand-selected, blended in small batches and finished in Albariño wine casks for six months. The result is a one-of-a-kind, 105-proof bourbon with a bouquet of nectarine, lime, and grapefruit on the nose, and lemon zest, honeydew and mouth-watering acidity on the palate.
