Happy new year! We hope 2021 was good for you and yours and that 2022 is even better. We’ve got some exciting things happening around the distillery this year, and we wanted to share that excitement with you.
$4M Distillery Expansion
Our expansion is the biggest project for the year and will help us make you more whiskey. The $4M expansion will enable a 24-hour operation and boost annual production by 75%! The distillery will remain fully operational throughout the construction process. Additionally, all construction work will take place “back of house” and will not impact tours or any other aspects of the guest experience.
”Lux Row Distillers broke ground nearly six years ago as a result of our company’s desire to grow our brands and service our needs on our terms,” said Lux Row Master Distiller John Rempe. “Expansion of our facilities represents the next chapter in our evolution as we continue to fill the growing demand for our products. I’m truly excited to see what possibilities open up when expansion is completed.”

Daviess County
We consider Daviess County Bourbon to be the perfect example of what whiskey blending can do, and we’ve learned a lot about the process over the years. We pass some of that knowledge onto you with our latest page updates. If you’re interested in whiskey blending, how the process works, and how you can even do some yourself at home, you will want to check out Whiskey Blending 101 over on the Daviess County website.
Also, around July of this year, Daviess County Bourbon will release its annual new variant, Daviess County Light Toast Finish. In case you missed it, last year’s release was the Double Barrel Limited Edition.
David Nicholson
New packaging for David Nicholson 1843 and Reserve will begin shipping to retailers by the end of January. The updated bottle design features a smaller neck but contains the same great bourbon.
Rebel Bourbon
Rebel 10-Year is set for allocation in March. It’s aged in charred oak barrels for ten years and boasts a unique flavor profile specific to each batch. Each batch is one-of-a-kind, just like the rebels who drink it.
Blood Oath
And last but certainly not least, perhaps our most popular annual release, Blood Oath Pact 8, is set to arrive at retailers in April. We can’t give away too much information right now, but we’re really excited about this one. More details coming soon.
